A school district near Baton Rouge, LA is seeking to hire a full or part time School Psychologist.
The most qualified applicants will currently have national certification through the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) or be certified to work as a School Psychologist in the state of Louisiana. Recent experience is preferred, but new graduates who have completed their internship will be considered.
The job will entail traditional job responsibilities of School Psychologists, including (but not limited to): evaluations, assessments, counseling, collaboration with other SPED department members regarding the IEP process for students on the caseload, crisis intervention, and other tasks as directed by the Director of Special Education.
The caseload is still being determined, so the ideal School Psych applicant will be flexible and open to working with students between PreK and grade 12. Age preference may be honored in collaboration with other School Psychologists on staff.
