A district in an affluent and diverse Los Angeles suburb is seeking a full time (FTE 1.0) School Psychologist for an elementary caseload.
The position will cover multiple elementary schools within a short distance of each other. Services to the schools will include assessments, consultation, and counseling based on the RTI (Response to Intervention) model. Familiarity with this model is preferred but not necessarily required.
Desired qualifications for this position include a minimum of Master’s or Educational Specialist’s degree in School Psychology; previous experience working with students in grades preK through 5 as a School Psychologist; current California PPS certification. A School Psychologist with experience working with a culturally diverse student population, the ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and guardians, and a self-starting attitude will be the best fit for the school district. New graduates may be considered for this opportunity.
